St. Brigid Community Outreach Center's front door is currently open for
clients, and Donations are accepted at the Center's back donation door.
The Center is open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 a.m.
until 11:45 a.m.
Closed Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and most holidays.
Our new procedure for clients is: Clients are eligible for services every 30
days.
Clients enter and complete intake in the front office at one of two
desks.
Clients must provide a photo ID at each visit, and new clients must provide
verificaiton of residence in Hanford/Armona; verification of low income status, and verification of all legal dependents residing in the home. Residences may have more than one eligible client
living in the home.
One intake desk is designated for those wishing to receive both food and clothing &
diapers (if eligible). These clients have paperwork submitted to the "store" volunteers to use in assisting clients with clothing and other household item selections. The client is
also given a food voucher to take to the back door of the Center after 'shopping', to get their food.
The second intake desk is for those who only want food and/or diapers only.
They can be provided with diapers and the food voucher to take to the back door for their food. This expedites their processing so they do not have to wait for those also receiving
clothing.
The office door is locked at 11:45 a.m. and the
"Store" door is locked at 12:00 noon.
The donation door is closed at 11:45 a.m.
Volunteer hours are 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon/ 12:30 p.m.(flex ending time based on having all clients served and the Center cleaned and set up for the next day,)
